Paxton Turner

I am an AI Scientist at Arbol. My research is broadly in statistics and machine learning, as well as data modeling problems related to weather and climate.

My academic work spans topics including data compression, the statistical analysis of networks and text corpora, and data-balancing problems related to causal inference. For more details, see this research statement.

I obtained my Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics at MIT in 2021, advised by Philippe Rigollet. After that, I was a postdoctoral fellow for two years in the Department of Statistics at Harvard University supervised by Zheng Tracy Ke.
